About Us

Cheryl Lycette

I have been an Eclectic Healer for over 30 years. In 1993, I was valedictorian of my graduating class from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and immediately passed the board exams.
The training includes: nutrition, massage, acupuncture, western herbal medicine, ayurveda, energy healing, chinese medicine, homeopathy and counselling.
Since I was among the first doctors to be practicing Naturopathic Medicine in NS, I spent much time writing articles, lecturing and giving media interviews to educate the public. I am a founding member of the association (NSAND) that governs the profession in NS serving as vice-president for several years. In 2017, I decided to stop being a member of NSAND and dropped my licensing for philosophical reasons.
I am accepting new patients. I work out of our home 15 minutes south of Bridgewater in New Cumberland; being at home helps me to be centred and focused during our appointments. I am very good at what I do and seldom need to see a person for very often to see improvement in their health. Many of the plant preparations (tinctures) that I use are made by myself and my husband from plants and fungi we have grown or foraged in the wild.
I am intuitive which helps to guide me in your care and to get to the root of what ails you. In Human Design, I’m a 4/6 Emotional Generator.

$200 / 90 minutes / intake form prior to this length appointment only

NB: In 2017, I stopped paying to be a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors for philosophical reasons. Meaning, I am not licensed or registered or regulated. Therefore, my services are not recognized by health insurance companies.
